About The Position

The Instructional Aide works under the direction and supervision of the school site administrator in support of the classroom teacher. The aide assists with pupil progress, control and the learning environment, and adjunct duties. The role requires professional competence in these areas and responsibility for professional improvement. The position is listed as 3.5 hours per day.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical and fingerprint clearance.

Requirements

• Submit a cover letter or letter of introduction.
• Submit a resume.
• Submit two letters of recommendation written within the last two years.
• Meet one of the following qualifications: an A.A. degree, 48 college units, or successful completion of the Instructional Aide Proficiency Exam.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical and fingerprint clearance.
