The pay range for this job profile is $16.65 - $21.77. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Two years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in the Life Sciences
  • Experience as an instructor in a biology classroom setting

Responsibilities

  • Instruct four laboratory sections of Biology 1101, 1110, 1113, or 1114 in autumn and spring semesters
  • Develop and deliver student-centered recitations
  • Guide students through prescribed laboratory exercises
  • Grade course assignments and post scores to the LMS
  • Attend course lectures
  • Hold student office hours and respond to student emails
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
