About The Position

The San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing position at Del Campo High School. This is a part-time, permanent position with a work year of 9 months (206 days) and a work day of 7 hours. The primary responsibility is to provide instructional support to deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Understanding of the needs of deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist students in accessing educational content and participating in classroom activities.
  • Support the educational program as directed by certificated staff.

Benefits
