This position involves planning and conducting individualized lessons for students with hearing impairments, utilizing various teaching materials and techniques. The role requires demonstrating and modeling strategies for developing listening and communication skills, and educating family members and staff about listening technology. The teacher will also be responsible for collecting data on student progress, attending IEP meetings, assessing academic and auditory skills, and developing/implementing curriculum activities. The ability to work with students across K-12 grades and support an independent study program is essential.
