About The Position
The general objective of this workshop is to develop or consolidate participants' spontaneity and ease in communicating orally in French in a more informal and relaxed context. The level of the French oral communication workshop will be determined by the level of the majority of registered individuals. The institute reserves the right to cancel any course with insufficient enrollment. The course runs from October 7 to November 18, 2026 (no class during reading week), Wednesdays, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Please note that this course is delivered online (virtual mode).
Requirements
- B.A. with a specialization in a field relevant to teaching French as a second language (L2) or a higher certificate in teaching French as a second language (L2).
- Two years of experience teaching French as a second language (FLS) at the college and/or university level.
- Previous experience teaching this course or an equivalent FLS course.
- Experience with heterogeneous groups.
- An acceptable level of training/experience may be considered equivalent to the required training and/or demonstrated experience.
