Davidson & Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Institutional Sales Assistant to support our Fixed Income Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and has strong organizational and administration skills. The Sales Assistant will play a critical role in onboarding institutional clients, resolving trade and compliance issues, and ensuring smooth operations support across Sales, Trading, and Underwriting desks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferable in a sales support or operations role withing Fixed Income Capital Markets, preferred
  • Maintain or be open to obtaining the Series 7 license within 90 days of employment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams in a professional and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of fixed income products and/or FINRA SEC compliance requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Fixed Income Sales team
  • Manage and coordinate the onboarding process for new institutional accounts, including all required documentation
  • Assist in resolving trade discrepancies and identifying potential bond or transaction issues
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Trading, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of trades
  • Support the Fixed Income Trading and Underwriting Desks with ad-hoc requests, account inquiries, and general administrative needs
