About The Position

CAPTRUST is seeking an Institutional Client Service Manager who will support our efforts of delivering high-level service to clients at our firm. The Manager will act as a resource to our client service team members through mentorship and strategic oversight to ensure both the quality of services provided to clients as well as the maintenance of our culture of integrity, teamwork, and putting clients' interests first. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Requirements

  • Completion of a four-year college degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8-10 years experience working in client service in the investment advisory, brokerage, or financial services industry
  • 4 years experience managing large teams

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of ERISA guidelines and regulations
  • Comprehension of the qualitative and quantitative aspects of various types of investments including mutual funds, separate accounts, alternatives, and private equities
  • Understanding of the various levels of investments including the fund managers and associated expenses
  • Proven track record in project management

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of client service team representatives responsible for delivering exceptional, proactive service to valued client relationships while contributing to initiatives supporting and advancing the overall client experience
  • Build an intentional, purposeful relationship with financial advisors, consistently requesting feedback on client service teammates and overall service levels
  • Assist client service team representatives and financial advisors with complex issues and projects including client related assignments, projects, and inquiries
  • Sets expectations for client service team representatives to monitor metrics and service standards
  • Contribute to enhancements in client service and procedures by participating and/or leading departmental initiatives/projects
  • Develop strong working partnerships with other departments in the firm
  • Performs other duties and special projects as required
