About The Position
The DaMar Team is actively seeking out installers for a local construction company. This role involves installing fireplaces, shelving, shower doors, and other home products in new and pre-existing homes and other residential applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of performance with hands-on work and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be insurable by the company.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Experience working with hand and power tools.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Above average customer service skills.
- Comfortable being on a ladder and a roof.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in construction, HVAC, or similar industry.
Responsibilities
- Installing all kinds of gas or wood burning fireplaces, stoves and inserts.
- Installing marble hearths and mantels and wood mantels.
- Servicing and troubleshooting units to ensure they operate at optimum levels and according to manufacturer specifications.
- Learning to use and clean tools and equipment specific to the division.
- Plumbing in gas lines according to code and manufacturer specifications.
- Loading trucks with tools and materials needed for the day's work.
- Keeping truck cabs and boxes clean, as well as job sites.
