About The Position

The Installer is responsible for installing parts and equipment for the Thermo King dealership. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The installer will ensure all installations meet standards and customer needs, diagnose equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and communicate effectively with customers while maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
Verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills
Problem solving skills
Trouble shooting skills
Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude
Possess a clean driving record
Pass a DOT approved physical
Work with common hand tools as well as scissor lifts and forklifts
Work comfortably on a ladder
Must have your own set of basic hand tools and toolbox.

Technical degree or certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Install new and used Thermo King equipment by following established processes and procedures
Ensure each install is consistent with the next and meets the install standard and customer’s needs
Diagnose issues with re-installed equipment using EDITH diagnostic software
Perform PMs such as oil changes and inspections
Complete work orders with all required information according to service policy
Communicate effectively with customers
Maintain a high level of cleanliness
