About The Position
We are in search of an electronic security installation technician to join our fast growing and dynamic team. This position will train locally to the DFW region before starting to extensively travel to customer sites around the country.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of installation experience in security industry OR technical / electrical background
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining enterprise-level access control systems.
- Installing and maintaining intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based.
- Installing and maintaining enterprise-level video management systems (IP-based).
- Networking and IT knowledge.
- Superior problem solving and communication skills.
- Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
- Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.
