About The Position

The Installer Team Lead will be responsible for managing complex furniture installation projects from start to end. This role requires extensive knowledge of furniture lines, product expertise, and the ability to train and lead lower-level installers and large teams. The Team Lead will also handle escalations, communicate with all necessary parties, and ensure installations are completed according to specifications. Additionally, the role involves customer service, product delivery, and documentation within the CORE system.

Requirements

5+ Years of Install Experience
Enjoys assembly work and has the ability to use basic hand/power tools.
Proficient in using a tape measure.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must pass a DOT physical and keep it current.
Must be able to lift 70 - 100 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
Independently manages complex projects end to end.
Operates as a product and supplier expert.
Handles escalations and communicates with all necessary parties.
Demonstrates thorough understanding of installation blueprints.
Solves issues with PM, FAC or CTQ.
Trains lower level installers.
Runs large teams and subcontractors simultaneously.
Attends pre-install meetings for jobs exceeding approximately $50,000 to understand job scope with the Project Manager (PM).
Understands every detail on a blueprint, including file bars, electrical, and dimensions.
Understands the layout of large areas and ensures panels are in the correct location matching designer's dimensions.
Strategically solves unexpected issues, which may include cutting work surfaces.
Closes out jobs on CORE with customer(s).
Loads furniture orders onto trucks and delivers products to customers.
Unloads, un-cartons, and distributes product accordingly.
Completes furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications.
Inspects furniture for proper operability according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
Works independently and with a team.
Assembles various chairs from different vendors.
Strengthens customer relationships by providing excellent customer service.
Makes small deliveries independently, such as chairs and chair mats.
Documents installs/deliveries in CORE.
Maintains a professional appearance at customer locations (uniform provided).
