About The Position

This is a hands-on, outdoor position in the construction industry. The Installer I will help with the setup of all manufactured homes. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow within the construction field, with no prior experience required. The position involves working as a team player, assisting with various tasks at home sites, and contributing to the overall construction process.

Requirements

Enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors.
Interested in starting a career in construction.
Ability to climb ladders, crawl underneath homes and lift up to 50 lbs.
Positive attitude and always work to be a team player.
Comfortable with the use of hand/power tools such as hammers, levels, drills and an impact wrench.

Responsibilities

Work as a team player by helping the Crew Chief and team
Remove protective shipping wrap from home
Remove and properly store exterior use items like shingles
Work with the team to help remove tires, axles, and tongues which can weigh up to 50 lbs.
Travel to each home site and assist the team with necessary construction activities
Load and unload materials, and keeping the tools & trucks organized
Help install vapor barriers beneath the home
Gather materials for beginning piers and help build them
Masonry work underneath the homes
