About The Position

HouseSmart Construction is seeking an Installer I to join their team. This is a hands-on, outdoor position for individuals with a can-do attitude who are eager to learn and grow in the construction industry. No prior experience is required for this entry-level role.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors.
• Interest in starting a career in construction.
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl underneath homes, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
• Comfortable with the use of hand/power tools such as hammers, levels, drills, and an impact wrench.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup of all manufactured homes.
• Work as a team player with the Crew Chief and team.
• Remove protective shipping wrap from the home.
• Remove and properly store exterior use items like shingles.
• Remove tires, axles, and tongues (which can weigh up to 50 lbs).
• Travel to home sites and assist with necessary construction activities.
• Load and unload materials, and keep tools and trucks organized.
• Install vapor barriers beneath the home.
• Gather materials for piers and assist in building them.
• Perform masonry work underneath the homes.
