About The Position

As the Installation & Tooling Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient installation process for equipment purchased in the U.S. You will support the customer and service teams from the earliest site preparation steps through final installation sign-off, helping deliver a professional experience that reflects TRUMPF’s standards for quality, reliability, and precision.

Requirements

  • Experience handling a high volume of customer calls is required.
  • Basic technical understanding is required.
  • Strong follow-up skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior scheduling experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of TRUMPF products is helpful.
  • A minimum of three years of prior experience, or equivalent experience in customer service or a technical environment, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule installation dates for U.S. machines in collaboration with customers, technology service teams, sales, and logistics.
  • Ensure all required resources are available for each installation, including technicians, tools, and parts.
  • Verify that the customer is prepared to receive the machine, including pre-installation requirements such as floor readiness, utilities, and access to the work area.
  • Work closely with the technology scheduler to use service capacity efficiently during the installation process.
  • Track assigned installations and monitor key factors such as capacity constraints, delays, missing parts, and installation efficiency.
  • Maintain installation KPIs in SIS, including SYNCHRO installation times, and monitor deviations throughout the process.
  • Communicate proactively and professionally with customers during installation to support a positive experience and strengthen customer satisfaction.
  • Support technology managers in evaluating field service engineers’ technical and soft skills to help guide assignments and training needs.
  • Report delays and quality issues to installation and service management in a timely manner.
  • Partner with the installation manager and other installation coordinators to develop tools and processes that improve tracking, reporting, and installation coordination.
  • Manage assigned installation toolboxes, including quality, quantity, and calibration.
  • Travel up to 10% during training phases to learn the installation process and support effective execution.
