Installation Supervisor
About The Position
KONE is a global leader in elevators, escalators, and automatic building doors, dedicated to improving urban life through innovative and sustainable solutions. As an Installation Supervisor for KONE Austin, TX, you will manage local installation operations, lead teams on construction sites with multiple subcontractors, and ensure safety guidelines are a top priority. You will be responsible for managing schedules, tracking team performance, and collaborating across the organization to achieve business goals. This role requires an understanding of code requirements, building systems knowledge, and experience working with general contractors. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant construction expertise and supervisory experience, preferably with a union-represented workforce, and an associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant construction expertise.
- Supervisory experience, ideally leading a union represented workforce.
- Associate degree in a related field or additional years of experience.
- Familiarity and comfort in leading a team on a construction site with multiple subcontractors.
- Experience in implementing and monitoring safety guidelines.
- Ability to effectively manage a schedule and track team's overall performance.
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve business goals.
- Appetite for learning and leveraging new technologies.
- Understanding of code requirements and building systems knowledge.
- Familiarity in working with general contractors.
