About The Position

Under direction of the Area Operations Manager, the Service and Installation Manager (SIM) will Manage and direct all the Service and Install related opportunities in the assigned area. The SIM will work with the Area Operations Manager and Service and Installation Management Team to drive operational efficiencies throughout the area. They will manage and lead the service and installation techs in the assigned areas to ensure that Federal Protection Customers are receiving world class service in a timely and efficient manner. The SIM will also work with the Area Operations Manager to ensure that all state and local licensing required for the position are adhered to and will be responsible for ensuring that all applicable licensing requirements are kept current for themselves and direct reports. Inventory control for the team will be managed within the guidelines set forth by upper management. The SIM will still run service calls and installs as needed to ensure quality control and address training and development, and may also run service calls and installs to address high service call volume. The SIM must be or become an expert in current software (CRM Tools) and be able to lead, manage and train all Team members through the mandatory use of that software. They must work in coordination with other Service and Installation Managers (SIM) on all projects that may require their designated area to assist in other areas such as but not limited to installations and service. The SIM must have expert skills in customer conflict resolution when it arises. They must comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to position and employment, and all company policies, procedures, and expectations to the benefit of the organization and co-workers. The SIM will productively and positively contribute to the company’s goal of maintaining a safe, healthy, productive, and enjoyable workplace, and accurately complete all paperwork, including timecards, in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of five years’ industry experience
  • Current or prior management experience is preferred.
  • Must be or become an expert in our current software (CRM Tools)
  • Expert skills in customer conflict resolution
