The Installation Manager implements design drawings, device schedules, and submittals based on customer bids from the Pre-Sales Engineering department, ensuring product compatibility with existing site conditions. This role requires knowledge in CCTV, Access Control, IP Intercom, Intrusion, and Network systems. The position involves overseeing the technical integration of security solutions, providing on-site support for installation challenges, and creating detailed drawings and submittals for general contractor review. The Installation Manager also handles post-installation as-built drawings, reviews pre-sales approved proposals, and acts as a technical support liaison with manufacturers. Collaboration with Post-Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, integrators, manufacturers, and the project management team is crucial for implementing customer goals and resolving technical/scheduling conflicts. Additionally, the role includes providing technical training for installation teams on new technologies and conducting on-site visits for Pre-Sales (approximately 10% of the job). Collaboration with general contractors during the rough-in phase ensures all security-impacted disciplines are addressed. Systems supported include, but are not limited to, Genetec, S2, Honeywell, Verkada, Kantech, Bosch, Axis, Milestone, Avigilon-Alta, Brivo-EE, and Assa-Abbloy. The role is structured as 70% Design Engineering, 10% Pre-Sales Quoting, and 20% Field Engineering.
