About The Position

As an Installation Manager supporting CIS, you will lead installation activities that modernize and sustain enterprise IT infrastructure across globally distributed sites. You will oversee installation teams, ensure site readiness, coordinate schedules, maintain documentation accuracy, and resolve field issues to keep projects on track. Your leadership ensures high quality deployments, minimizes service disruption, and enables a secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment for mission essential users.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree
  • Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g. Security+ CE, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience managing installation teams or largescale IT deployment projects across multi-site environments
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware installation, equipment handling, cabling standards, and configuration requirements
  • Ability to interpret installation plans, technical documentation, and bill of materials (BOM) for complex deployment projects
  • Experience maintaining detailed installation documentation and inventory records
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • US Citizenship Required

  • Ability to support CONUS and OCONUS travel as required by installation activities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage all installation activities, including planning, scheduling, equipment readiness, and deployment execution across multiple sites
  • Lead installation technicians, providing task direction, technical guidance, and issue escalation support to ensure accurate, timely, and complete installations
  • Conduct and validate site surveys, readiness assessments, inventory checks, and equipment verification prior to installation activities
  • Maintain installation documentation, including issue logs, site readiness forms, actions and results, equipment inventories, and progress updates
  • Communicate deviations, risks, and schedule impacts to leadership and coordinate corrective actions to keep projects aligned with requirements
  • Support hardware lifecycle tasks such as equipment removal, replacement, declassification, sanitization, asset tracking, and compliance with configuration and disposal standards
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for installation related issues, coordinating across service lanes, site leads, and project managers to resolve challenges
