About The Position

The Installation Manager is responsible for leading and supervising the technical team (installation and service techs), delivering exceptional AV, LV, IT, Control, Lighting, and Shading installation and support.

Requirements

  • Leadership managing technical teams (install & service)
  • Experience: IT, AV tech, Data Centers, Ticketing Systems
  • Travel to client sites may be required
  • Lift +50lbs
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA, CCNA, or AV related certifications (Avixa, Bicsi, CTS)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor the technical team
  • Hiring, onboarding, and evaluation of technicians
  • Maintain safety protocols and company policies
  • Documentation and enforcement of installation standards (SOP's) by phase (Pre-Wire, Trim, Final) and by subsystem (A/V, IT, Control, Lighting, Shading)
  • Review incoming service tickets, contact clients, and schedule service calls
  • Support Internal Teams & External Customers
  • Handle AV and IT Related Service Requests (computers, servers, networks, and AV devices)
  • Build and maintain reports on system performance, ticketing metrics, and business analytics.
