About The Position

The Lead Installation Technician oversees assigned carwash equipment installations, including staffing, scheduling, resolving problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role monitors job progress to keep installations on schedule and within budget. It involves traveling to installation sites, sometimes overnight and for up to two weeks at a time, installing and erecting equipment, and checking its functionality before leaving each site. The technician also trains customers on proper equipment operation.

Requirements

Two years of experience working in an industrial or installation environment.
Ability to work out of town on installations for up to two weeks at a time.
Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and Saturdays.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to pass a drug screen, including for marijuana.
Ability to read schematics.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to climb ladders to heights over 14 feet.
Ability to be on your feet all day.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in temperatures ranging from 10 to 100 degrees.

Responsibilities

Erect and install carwash equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Travel to assigned installation locations for prolonged periods, including overnight travel.
Monitor project plans daily to ensure installation deadlines are met.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Perform site inspections to verify the functionality and performance of newly installed equipment.
Train customers on proper equipment operation.
Interact directly with customers by telephone, electronically, or face to face.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
