About The Position

This role is responsible for generating customer billings accurately and in a timely manner, managing accounts receivables for resolution. The Installation Biller will provide initial analysis and report job cost information to managers. Key duties include capturing change orders, billing for additional costs, and recording data on the job opening sheet. The position involves preparing and printing customer invoices by entering labor and material into the AS400 system, researching the database for correct parts and pricing to manage inventory, and reviewing billed sales reports to accurately record job costs. Verification of purchase orders and change orders against invoice amounts is required before mailing to customers. The role also includes providing customer service to both internal and external clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, detail oriented and highly motivated.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and excel
  • Ability to work in a team environment and desire for continuous learning through cross-training

Responsibilities

  • Generate customer billings in a timely and accurate manner and work with accounts receivables in account resolution.
  • Provide first pass analysis and report information of the job cost for managers.
  • Capture change orders, properly bill additional costs and capture data on the job opening sheet.
  • Accurately prepare and print customer invoices through entering labor and material into AS400 system if applicable.
  • Research database thoroughly for proper parts and pricing to insure proper control over inventory of service stocking locations.
  • Review billed sales report and properly record job costs.
  • Verify purchase orders and change orders are equal to invoice amount prior to mailing to customer.
  • Provide customer service to customers internal and external.
