About The Position

Independent Contractor – Installation & Service Technician (Plumbing Experience Preferred) for Maytag Whole House Water Treatment Systems. This is a field-based, contract opportunity with pay per job. Maytag Whole House Water Treatment Systems is expanding and seeking skilled independent contractors with plumbing experience to perform installation and service work for residential water treatment systems. This is a 1099 contract opportunity, ideal for professionals who prefer flexibility, control over their schedule, and pay-per-job earnings.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must provide your own tools and equipment
• Ability to accept and complete assigned jobs in a timely manner (same day availability is a must)
• Professional communication and customer-facing demeanor

Nice To Haves

• Residential plumbing or mechanical installation experience
• Experience with water treatment, filtration, or similar systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and manage job timelines
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Install whole-home water treatment systems at residential properties
• Perform service, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed
• Ensure all installations meet quality and performance standards
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site
• Complete job documentation as required
