About The Position
The Install Technician is responsible for the service and installation of car wash systems and other related installations. This role requires establishing, promoting, and maintaining relationships with customers, co-workers, and sales representatives. The technician must be capable of working independently with little general supervision.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Willingness to travel overnight 5 days a week is required
- Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License required
- Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Welding, Fabricator, or Construction trades
- Coordination and motor skills to work with power/hand tools
- Must obtain DOT medical card within 30 days of employment
Responsibilities
- Install commercial car wash equipment, understanding electrical, plumbing, water heaters, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to procedures and regulations
- Foster teamwork by communicating effectively and maintaining continuity among team members
- Assist the install Supervisor to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer satisfaction
- Uphold customer confidence by maintaining confidentiality and interacting courteously
- Cross train to learn various skills such as plumbing, electrical, welding, etc
- Adhere to safety codes and regulations, including OSHA guidelines
- Perform other duties as needed, beyond the specified job description
