About The Position

The Install Manager will be responsible for project managing approximately 10 projects once up to speed, with an initial workload of 3-5 projects. The project size ranges from $30,000 to $500,000, with a total managed amount of $1 million. This role involves a hybrid of office work and visiting job sites 2-3 days a week. The company is a Controls Company and Electrical Install firm, established over 35 years ago with 25 employees, specializing in script-based BAS lines and Tridium Niagara programming. They primarily work on Plan & Spec projects, serving clientele such as school districts, government defense work, military bases, U.S. facilities, Class-A commercial buildings, and large residential complexes. The services offered include a mix of retrofit, services, and design-build/new construction, with most projects involving installation.

Requirements

• Previous install management or service management experience
• Ability to be a chameleon – can adjust to changes and various personality types
• Would consider a hand-on professional who would like to get into install management.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling 15-20 installation technicians
• Attend/participate in forecasting meetings
• Process billed time for the technicians
• Run performance reviews with employees on the Install team
• Review billing/financials
• Schedule meetings with customers
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal team members (Engineering Manager, Service Manager, Install Manager, etc)
• Mix of office work and visiting field jobs
