About The Position
As an Install Assistant with Cabinet Experts, you will have the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to build a long-term career in the trades. At Cabinet Experts, our Install Assistants work hand-in-hand with veteran installers, providing support with setup, demolition, cleanup, and the installation of the cabinet refacing systems.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong desire to learn a skilled trade and grow in the home improvement industry
- Relevant experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, renovation, etc. is preferred
- Ability to accurately measure using basic tools (tape measure, level, etc.)
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to routinely and safely lift/move items weighing over 50lbs
- Ability to use power tools as necessary
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Installer with the kitchen cabinet refacing system installation
- Support daily job tasks including set up, demolition, clean up, loading/unloading the work truck, measuring materials and preparing the space for install
- Learn and develop hands-on trade skills in carpentry and construction
- Help keep the company truck clean, organized, and stocked with all necessary equipment and materials
- Participate in team meetings and hands-on training sessions
- Deliver a high level of customer service to ensure a 5-star experience
