About The Position

VDLA, LLC d/b/a R.A. Hoy Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking to fill two temporary, full-time Install Assistant positions in Kitty Hawk, NC, to work approximately from May 16, 2026, to October 31, 2026. This role is a peak load position.

Requirements

Requires 1 year of experience in any HVAC, Electrical, Refrigeration, or Carpentry ETC position.
Must pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Installer with installing air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Furnish tools, materials, and supplies to other workers.
Clean work areas, HVAC systems, and tools.
Hold materials or tools for other workers.
Assist other workers with the installation of auxiliary components to cooling equipment, such as expansion or discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, or stokers.
Help and support the Lead Installer to change filters, clean ducts, and refill non-toxic refrigerants.
Tend and observe equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation.
Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment, and supplies for other workers.
Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment, and machines.
Assist more skilled workers with similar tasks.
