About The Position

The Supervisor Install & Repair is responsible for the securing, coordination, and execution of Septic System Installation and Repairs business for their assigned territory. This position is both a sales role and an operations role responsible for developing and growing a pipeline of new and existing customers for Installation & Repair services in the region from first contact through to project completion (inclusive of assessment, quote, deal close, onsite project management, etc).

Requirements

  • Experience selling into industrial manufacturing
  • Proven and Certified ability to perform Septic System installation and repairs
  • Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills
  • Experience selling to residential and commercial customers
  • Familiarity and demonstrated success in securing bids in municipal accounts
  • Experience in wastewater treatment and management
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to evaluate price, profitability, and resources needed for projects
  • Effective at managing large, complex projects
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen

  • High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • Five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in industry.
  • 5 plus years with direct responsibility managing a team of skilled and unskilled workforce
  • Must have or be willing/able to maintain all necessary licenses and/or certifications required to install or repair septic systems within the state/area of operating facility
  • Strong customer (operations) focus
  • Understanding and experience in driving a safety culture
  • Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace

Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent service delivery and dependability to increase retention and growth of customer base
  • Prospects new customers within assigned geography
  • Successfully propose, negotiate, and close profitable revenue opportunities at existing and new account locations by leveraging strong relationships with senior environmental and operations executives.
  • Evaluate customer needs, understand market drivers and forces, and ensure appropriate service delivery and pricing.
  • Understand account profitability, value, and potential to develop strategy to maximize profit and increase market share.
  • Prepare bids, pull permits, and manage projects, equipment, labor, subcontractors, and other resources for customers.
  • Provide effective communication between customers and Wind River Environmental.
  • Educated and assist customers on product and service
  • Oversees project, install, repair, and equipment operator technicians on job sites
  • Provide troubleshooting support to technicians as needed
  • Maintain active and current knowledge septic system regulations and requirements as well as the permitting process
  • Maintain an active and current inventory tracking list, verifying that appropriate stock of materials is maintained at all times
  • Ensures technicians are properly trained in all aspects of their job
  • Actively works to gain the respect of subordinates through daily interaction with subordinates; promoting team work, harmony and productivity.
  • Work alongside central departments as necessary to ensure overall success of the business.
  • Participate actively in all training exercises, team meetings, and safety discussions.
  • Completion and submission of any and all required paperwork within established company and customer guidelines.
  • Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols.
  • Must comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations if applicable
  • Leverages employee talents by increasing strengths to promote optimal operational efficiencies.
  • Ensures a safe and healthy work environment is maintained at all times and all personnel are trained in operational safety policies, procedures and requirements.
  • Enforces company safety policies and ensures safety equipment is provided as needed to employees so they may safely perform the duties of their jobs without injury to themselves or others.
