Inspector
About The Position
Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is a 100% employee-owned consulting firm with over 2,800 professionals providing engineering, architecture, information technology, and related services. JMT's Construction Management Team is seeking Inspectors in South Carolina to ensure quality, safety, and conformance to plans and specifications during and after roadway and bridge construction. Immigration sponsorship is not available, except for TN visa candidates. Higher level Inspector positions are also available for experienced candidates. JMT offers training, professional development, and a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Ability to review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods.
- Ability to perform routine tests on concrete, soils and other materials.
- Ability to measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades and/or pavement.
- Ability to gather and maintain record documents.
- Ability to make field notes and computations.
Nice To Haves
- Extensive experience in inspection and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
