About The Position

The Inspector will be responsible for performing in-process and/or final inspections of various components and assemblies, ensuring they meet drawing, purchase order, and engineering specifications. This role involves operating inspection measurement tooling, determining conformance to standards, and completing necessary documentation. The position also requires maintaining a clean and safe work area, participating in team activities, and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate inspection measurement tooling.
• Perform in-process and/or final inspection including mechanical, electrical, performance, leak testing and appearance of component machining, forming or welding; compressors, air units, vessels, valves; electrical assemblies and components; and any complex mechanical and electrical assembly of discrete smaller assemblies and components.
• Ensure individuals responsible for non-conformities are constructively educated as to the nature of the non-conformity and the correction required for acceptance.
• Complete appropriate inspection records.
• Determine conformance or non-conformance to drawing, purchase order, engineering specs, test procedures, etc. as applicable.
• Complete rejected material reports and inspection tags.
• Perform necessary material handling associated with the job.
• Operate and calibrate test equipment as required.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards.
• Maintain necessary time, quality, quantity and other records.
• Participate within special work teams performing various team related duties, including Kaizen events, 5S programs and problem solving exercises.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures and JHRA.
