About The Position

The Inspector will inspect fabric for defects, complete inspection log sheets, and enter production data into the computer as needed. This role is also responsible for maintaining and recording accurate waste data. The position requires the ability to perform a minimum of 144 machine inspections within a 12-hour shift, adhere to all safety procedures and policies, and report any unsafe conditions to management. Maintaining a neat and clean work area and performing other assigned duties are also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Identify and mark defects in fabric.
Inform Supervisor/Mechanic of any defects that need to be fixed.
Complete Inspector Log Sheet for each machine inspected.
Enter production in computer as needed.
Record waste on waste sheet as needed.
Inspect sample rolls as required and enter data into computer.
Must be able to perform a minimum of 144 machine inspections in a 12 hour shift.
Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Perform other duties as assigned.
