This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality guest room and public area standards, managing team performance, and assisting with various housekeeping operations. The Inspector will build positive guest and team member relations, conduct departmental meetings, and ensure consistent service delivery. A key part of the role involves inspecting guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, immediately correcting any deficiencies. The Inspector also evaluates worker performance to ensure quality service and compliance with housekeeping specifications, ensuring all departures are completed by check-in time. Additionally, this position supports the housekeeping supervisor with opening duties, office tasks, screening and interviewing applicants, and performing performance appraisals. The role requires training staff on proper procedures, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring safety precautions are followed. The Inspector may also perform guest room attendant, turndown attendant, or house person duties as needed.
