Performs inspection functions according to Frontier's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) and FAA Regulations to ensure flight safety and airworthiness of Frontier aircraft. This role involves ensuring compliance with approved published procedures, performing Required Inspection Item (RII) inspections, and conducting various types of aircraft inspections including C-Check, line maintenance/RON, and receiving inspections. The Inspector will also monitor maintenance, workmanship, and materials for compliance, perform on-site quality control, and audit completed aircraft records. Additionally, the role includes participating in the improvement of Frontier's CAMP, assisting with vendor and station audits, and providing On-The-Job Training (OJT) in areas like NDT and borescope inspections. Maintaining accuracy of work documents, staying current with manuals, researching pertinent information, and making FMIS entries are also key responsibilities. Safety rules, regulations, and good housekeeping standards in maintenance areas are paramount, as is maintaining positive tool control accountability. The Inspector will also assist with the evaluation of new tooling and ensure proper data entry for calibrated tooling.
