Inspector - Level 3
About The Position
The quality and compliance of products and processes within our operations. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring adherence to established standards to maintain the highest level of product integrity. You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Olathe, KS location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall quality assurance processes, contributing to the delivery of reliable and safe products that meet customer and regulatory requirements, thereby supporting Honeywell’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and defect identification.
- Proficiency with measurement tools and quality documentation systems to accurately record inspection results.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements applicable to the products being inspected.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as Quality Assurance or Manufacturing.
- 3+ years of experience in product inspection or quality control roles.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of products and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and document defects or deviations, and communicate findings to relevant teams for corrective action.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes.
