About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Level 3 Inspector for Plant 3. This role involves advanced inspection techniques, programming of measuring equipment, and contributing to product development and quality assurance processes. The inspector will be responsible for ensuring products meet stringent quality standards through various analytical and inspection methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in all Level 1 and Level 2 Inspector activities
• Must be able to set-up, program, and operate Virtek, Faro Arm, and CMM
• Working knowledge of statistical data collection Capabilities Studies and Gage R&R's.

Nice To Haves

• Can create and modify programs for stationary and portable coordinate measuring equipment & related software
• Working knowledge of statistical data collection, capability studies, and Gage R&R.
• Root Cause analysis and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Work with Product development activities.
• Assist in Development of training programs regarding complex measuring equipment.
• Create and modify programs for stationary and portable coordinates measuring equipment & related software.
• Writing, maintaining, and troubleshooting gage programs.
• Create and maintain pictorial and written work instructions for inspection procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis for problem solving.
• Inspection and analysis of welds per AWS standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
