About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Level II Inspector to join its Caleb Brett team in Gretna, Louisiana. The role performs inspection duties on product and chemical cargoes and includes travel at least 15% of the time. The schedule is a 4-and-4 rotation and may change based on client demands.

Intertek Caleb Brett provides cargo inspection and analytical assessment services to the oil and gas, chemical, and other commodities markets. This position requires the mental and physical ability to perform the listed duties, including climbing shore tanks up to 70 feet and carrying approximately 50 pounds at a time.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least one year of petroleum inspection experience and the ability to work on barges.
• Ability to travel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70 feet tall and carry approximately 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to acquire and maintain IFIA certification, if not already certified.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities
