About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Level II Inspector to join its Caleb Brett team in Gretna, Louisiana. The role performs inspections of petroleum product and chemical cargoes, including work on barges and inventories of shore tanks. The position requires travel at least 15% of the time and follows a 4-and-4 schedule that may change based on client demands. The employee must be able to climb shore tanks up to 70 feet and carry approximately 50 pounds at a time.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least one year of petroleum inspection experience and ability to work on barges.
• Ability to travel.
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70 feet tall and carry approximately 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to acquire and maintain an IFIA Certification, if not already certified.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC Card.

Responsibilities
