About The Position
Ensure product and documentation conforms to customer requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic understanding of shop math.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment.
- Basic understanding of GD&T.
- Basic blueprint reading skills.
- Familiarity with AS9100.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and practices
Responsibilities
- Review customer drawings/operations sheets and determine appropriate tooling needed to perform inspection.
- Perform layout inspection under the direction of a supervisor.
- Review and interpret data, test reports, and certifications for compliance to customer requirements.
- Document and enter inspection findings into the system.
- Partner with manufacturing to resolve daily production issues.
- Understand and operate within the QMS (AS9100).
- Ensure product release occurs only when all customer requirements including documents, certification, and product are conforming and compliant, in concert with Supervisor.
