POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervisory provide quality control support for receipt, in-process, and finished goods inspection. Identifies, records, evaluates and recommends solutions to quality problems.

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Attain and maintain ASNT TCIA Level I certification.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings for marking nomenclature and location.
  • Entry level inspection capabilities – basic inspection tool knowledge, calipers, micrometers.
  • Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division).
  • Utilize blueprints, charts and graphs, customer drawings and specifications.
  • Basic computer skills, ie email, Word, Excel.
  • Basic typing skills to prepare electro etch stencils.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and converse in English.
  • By contractual requirements this position requires that all persons establish proof of US Citizenship. Dual Citizenship (US citizenship and citizenship of some other country) cannot be accepted. You will be required to provide original or certified copies of documents establishing your citizenship prior to consideration for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect in-process parts visually and dimensionally using required instruments.
  • Inspect received materials visually and review and approve applicable material tests reports.
  • Complete reports and related paperwork and transfer electronically as applicable.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
