About The Position

This role is responsible for reviewing work order documentation, inspecting parts using basic hand gauges, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate to support shipping. The inspector will also be responsible for part marking, creating nonconformance records, maintaining inspection records for traceability, and performing administrative duties as assigned. This position operates on the 2nd shift, from 12pm to 8pm, and includes a 12% shift differential.

Requirements

Understanding of basic engineering print principals.
Must be able to pass a required annual vision test.
Organizational multi-tasking skills.
Communication and time management skills.
Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.

Nice To Haves

2 years’ minimum quality and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with basic hand gaging (calipers, micrometers, heightgages, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Review work order documentation including Router and IMS for completion.
Inspect part characteristics using basic hand gages as required.
Make copies to support shipping documentation of material and processing certs along with evidence of special processing as required by customer.
Part Mark product according to instructions.
Create and update internal nonconformance records as needed.
Maintain completed work order records according to traceability and evidence of inspection retention requirements.
Perform administrative duties as assigned.
