Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience in quality, inspection, or manufacturing.
US Citizenship
Must able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Able to work under a microscope
Able to read engineering drawings
Able to read part lists
Able to lift up to 30 pounds
Able to sit for long periods of time
Able to stand for long periods of time
Knowledgeable with using Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

J-STD Training or experience.
IPC-A-610/620 Training or experience.
Torque Training or experience.
Experience working in an ESD (electrostatic discharge) environment.
PPE experience.
SAP experience.
Experience with decision making process.

Responsibilities

The Inspector uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
Uses various measuring devices as described in the Assembly Instruction.
Utilize released build documentation to make good part/bad part decisions.
Utilize drawings, part list, Assembly Instructions, Standard Shop Practices, dial indicators, micrometers, scales and other tools as defined by the work instruction.
Utilize SAP (Standards, Applications and Process) daily to interface with production hardware.
Review contracts and shipping paperwork for accuracy.
Work under a microscope.
