The Inspection and Repair Operator is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting electronic assemblies and components to ensure compliance with quality and workmanship standards. This role sets up workstations with the appropriate inspection documentation, process instructions, and visual aids, performs in-process and final “go/no-go” inspections, and identifies defects using inspection equipment such as microscopes, magnification devices, and automated inspection systems. The operator completes touch-up and repair activities, adjusts or reworks components to meet electrical and dimensional specifications, and accurately records inspection and production data in shop floor control systems. Working closely with production teams and manufacturing support personnel, the Inspection and Repair Operator communicates quality concerns, supports continuous improvement efforts, and helps ensure products meet customer and company quality requirements before shipment.
