About The Position

The inspack is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of products throughout the production process in a manufacturing environment. This role involves performing inspections to confirm adherence to specifications, standards and safety regulations. The inspack will work closely with the team to identify and resolve any defects or quality issues and ensure that products meet the required quality standards before they are shipped to the customers.

Requirements

  • Basic math and measuring ability.
  • Ability to identify issues effectively
  • High mental alertness to identify and respond to machine processes, quality issues, and safety concerns.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to interpret instructions effectively.
  • Ability of repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with FSSC 22000:2005, GMPs, and HACCP is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all parameters of Safety, Food Safety and Quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the plant.
  • Immediately report to supervisor any incident and unsafe condition.
  • Perform visual and physical inspections to verify that the products meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct measurements and tests to ensure product dimensions, appearance and functionality are complying.
  • Follow the inspection and packaging procedures according to the work instructions.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspection, including any defects found or other non-conformities.
  • Ensure that defective or non-conforming products are properly tagged.
  • Communicate findings to the operator to address quality issues, ensuring compliance with established communication procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensure that all inspections and procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned by management.
