About The Position

Our Montreal office is seeking a bilingual Insolvency Advisor to join our Personal Debt Solutions team. This newly created role requires a consistent in-office presence, with the primary location based in our downtown Montreal office and a weekly visit to our Brossard office. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing initial consultations to assess the debtor’s situation and recommend appropriate options, assisting debtors and creditors with bankruptcies and proposals, reviewing interview forms, preparing files/documents for client signing, and community outreach, business development, presentations, and use of social media to promote personal debt solutions offerings. Training will be provided for initial consultations.

Requirements

2 years or more in Customer Service, financial services insolvency, banking, credit Counseling, or other relevant area
Great interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members, debtors, and creditors
Bilingual in English and French
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in various situations
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Takes personal ownership and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
Excellent time management and organizational skills
A team player who can also work independently
Available to work one evening shift a week until 7:30pm
Ability to travel to the Brossard office once a week
