About The Position

As an Insider Threat Investigator, you will triage, conduct, and support insider threat investigations for a federal client, evaluating complaints of fraud, waste, and abuse, data spills, and network penetrations. This is hands-on investigative work in a classified environment, developing the procedures and countermeasures that protect ongoing operations.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph after hire (if not already held)
• 2+ years of federal law enforcement, IC, security, or general law enforcement investigations or operations experience
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering professional-level reports, memorandums, information, briefings, and/or recommendations that support inquiries and investigations
• Demonstrated successful implementation of Government security requirements
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and mature professional capable of operating with little tasking and oversight in a diverse environment

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, counterintelligence, criminal justice, engineering, fraud investigations, information technology, mathematics, or a related scientific field
• Successful graduation from FLETC, DCITA, JCITA, or another formal DoD or US Federal Government analysis course or program

Responsibilities

• Investigate complaints of fraud, waste, and abuse, data spills, and network penetrations, and respond to related computer and cyber security incidents
• Evaluate system and program security vulnerabilities and develop procedures, countermeasures, requirements, and designs that satisfy program security policy and planning guidance
• Monitor implementation of security requirements for Government and Industry facilities and systems, and participate in technical meetings and working groups on related issues
• Develop and deliver professional investigative and analytical reports and briefings
