About The Position

Amentum is seeking an Insider Threat Investigative Analyst to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Chantilly, VA area. This role involves conducting comprehensive all-source analysis for a national-level government Insider Threat mission, aggregating and analyzing various data sources to assess risk, and extracting/organizing data for metrics, reports, and trend analysis. The analyst will also conduct research, prepare situational awareness and warning reports, provide presentations, and ensure the quality and timeliness of program products and Insider Threat data.

Requirements

Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in one of the social sciences, criminal justice, national security, or a related field.
Eight (8) or more years demonstrated experience conducting all-source analysis or investigations in support of government or private sector Insider Threat Programs (ITP), to include counterintelligence, security, law enforcement, human resources, or other related fields.
Expert knowledge and experience in assessing risks, tracking trends, implementing best practices, identifying barriers for compliance, compiling metrics, and ensuring quality and timeliness of insider threat reports.
Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Extensive experience with Insider Threat databases for record-keeping, data mining, and analysis purposes.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degrees in relevant technical and specialized fields, or professional certifications such as the Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional (CCITP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Review and incorporate Insider Threat data in support of government mission requirements and timeliness.
