About The Position

Our organization is dedicated to serving the Medium and Heavy Duty Truck and Full Service Leasing Industries across the Upper Midwest. From the beginning of the vehicle purchase/leasing process, through on-going vehicle repair and maintenance, our team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals work diligently to keep our customers trucks on the road running smoothly. As an internal Used Stock Trucks Sales Person, you will be responsible for the in-store sales process and performance, customer prospecting, qualifying and relationship building.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the highest degree of energy, self-confidence and integrity and the ability to perform well without daily supervision
  • Ability to successfully negotiate with prospects/customers at all management levels
  • Ability to work under pressure both externally and internally across department lines, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional Customer Service Orientation and phone skills to reach Decision Makers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Adapt at quickly learning new business software systems Dealer Socket CRM/Etc.
  • Some travel may be required

Responsibilities

  • Support new business development and growth for the used truck stock sales customer base.
  • Achieve or exceed annual, quarterly and monthly goals and objectives.
  • Constantly improve sales effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Work closely with our other departments to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Prospect for new customers and act as frontline.
  • Prospecting-Cold Calling/Lead Generation/Customer Relations Development, Customer Touches and Decision Maker Identification.
  • Data Mining to identify historic activity, inactive accounts, renewing relationships and new opportunities.
  • Maintain daily Customer Call/Touch/Lead Reports in Corp. CRM System.
  • Complete all training material in a timely manner and with the highest degree of proficiency and keep current with new training that comes up.
  • Support the initiatives of other departments within the dealership.
  • Distribute to Prospects/Customers, product/promotional literature and proposals
  • Achieve or exceed goals and objectives as established along with Customer Satisfaction Initiatives and ratings.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
