Requirements
- Minimum: 5 years of experience in a related field; or a high school diploma/GED with 3 years of experience; or an associate degree, a bachelor’s degree or certification in a related discipline.
- Proficiency with computers and common business software.
Nice To Haves
- An associate degree or technical certification in a related discipline.
- 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting quotas.
- 2 years of experience selling over the phone.
- 6 months of experience selling telecommunications products and services.
Responsibilities
- Making outbound calls to upsell additional products and services to existing customers.
- Managing customer renewals as they arise.
- Educating customers on installed products, service offerings, billing and charges.
- Listening to customers to understand their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Developing and delivering proposals and presentations based on clients’ business needs.
- Assessing the serviceability of client locations and negotiating pricing, service levels and terms with clients.
- Collaborating with sales engineers to find appropriate solutions and resolve installation or service issues.
- Performing ROI assessments to ensure sales profitability.
- Generating new leads and requesting referrals from existing customers.
- Working with sales support to complete orders and maintain customer satisfaction and sharing customer insights and feedback with the marketing team.
