About The Position

We are looking for a driven and technically curious Inside Sales Representative to manage and close sales opportunities in a fast-paced, industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for owning the full sales cycle—from qualification and quoting through negotiation and close—primarily across short to mid-length sales cycles, with some larger project-based opportunities. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver accurate, technically sound solutions that meet customer requirements while supporting the company’s revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Technology, Power Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in a technical or industrial environment
  • Experience selling products or solutions in one or more of the following industries: Power and power electronics Power supplies (AC/DC, DC/DC) Frequency converters / VFDs Network and IT equipment or infrastructure products Renewable energy systems (solar, wind, energy storage) Electrical distribution equipment, including switchgear
  • Proven experience managing short sales cycles and project-based opportunities
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex products
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on margin and accuracy
  • Clear, professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-up
  • Customer-focused with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams
  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership of outcomes

  • Experience selling or supporting UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems

Responsibilities

  • Own and close assigned sales opportunities, typically ranging from 2–3 week cycles to larger projects of 3–6 months
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively follow up on qualified leads
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer technical and commercial requirements
  • Prepare and present accurate quotes and proposals aligned with customer needs and internal pricing guidelines
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms within approved authority
  • Maintain ownership of opportunities through order placement and handoff to operations
  • Translate customer application requirements into appropriate technical solutions
  • Review specifications, datasheets, and basic schematics to ensure solution fit
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to confirm feasibility, lead times, and costs
  • Support customers with technical clarification throughout the sales process
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
  • Support repeat business, reorders, and project extensions
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system
  • Track opportunities, quotes, and forecasts to support sales planning
  • Follow established sales processes, pricing policies, and approval workflows
  • Participate in sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance discussions
