Position Summary: Inside Sales will provide quote and sales support with direct communication to Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales Manager, representatives, and in-house departments.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to effectively communicate complex commercial or technical information.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with G-Suite, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and understand basic drafting skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multi-task work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
  • Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet job requirements.
  • High School diploma or its equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in General Studies or related field is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of bolted and welded tanks and their related parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Core responsibility is quote support executed in an efficient, accurate manner.
  • Quote responsibility includes quote design, quote pricing and formal quote generation using in-house Tank Connection (TC) programs.
  • Efficiently operate, update and maintain critical quote data within the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the company through training, company policies, products and selling methods.
  • Continuing Tank 101 education is essential and must be completed on an annual basis through classroom sessions, field training and web conferencing.
  • Provide backup to expedite the resolution of customer concerns as needed.
  • Stays up-to-date with product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature.
  • Prepare for and participate in company sales meetings.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.
  • Keep project documents current and accurate according to company ISO 9001 policy.
  • Travel will be minimal but required to provide hands on customer service or other sales support related needs.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
