About The Position

From our state-of-the-art Sacramento facility, we proudly serve Northern & Central California, Western Nevada, Southern Oregon, and beyond, including international exports to the Pacific Rim and Asia. As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be a key connection between General Produce and some of our most valued customers. This role is perfect for a people-person who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer service — all while helping customers discover products that best fit their needs. You’ll work collaboratively with Outside Sales Representatives and internal teams to ensure every customer interaction is seamless and positive. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must speak Spanish and be able to take customer produce orders.
Professional oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrates a strong sense of attention to detail and able to multitask.
Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and effective time management.

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Conduct Sales: Exclusively through phone, email, and online channels.
Order Verification & Documentation: Enter sales orders into the system with a high level of accuracy.
Customer Service: Build customer relationships while demonstrating products and services available.
Upsale: Utilize sales techniches and negotiation skills to grow account sales.
Communication: Process credits and follow up as needed, maintain profiles updated, and serve as a backup for the receptionist.
